WELCOME Uurpan Safari Lodge is a relaxed four star lodge situated on a game farm outside Schweizer Reneke, North West. Guests can enjoy a variety of meals and drinks at our daily restaurant and bar, while having a perfect view of grazing game. We also have a kiddies play area and swimming pool for the whole family to enjoy. The Lodge hosts different accommodation options to suit every clients needs, from a Honeymoon Suite to a Self-Catering Unit. Here guests can enjoy lazy evenings with beautiful sunsets and wake up to the tranquil sounds of the counrty side. Apart from accommodation and a restaurant, Uurpan Safari Lodge aslo caters for those who would like to host conferences, events and functions. Apart from the Lodge, there is also Uurpan Wedding Venue. The Wedding Venue is surrounded by stunning nature, which makes it a unique location. At Uurpan Safari Lodge guests can kick out their shoes and relax, while surrounded by nature and friendly staff.

ABOUT US

Uurpan Safari Lodge is situated on a active breeding game farm, Uurpan. The name can be translated directly to “Hourpan”. A pan is a small resivior created by escavating open ground to store runoff water. The name originates from the small pan right next to the entrance of the lodge. Many years ago, it took an hour to reach the pan on horseback. Thus the name, Uurpan. The game farm was originally bought in 2005 and for breeding only, but with time it became clear that the natural landscape, relaxed atmosphere and serene environment would make it the perfect spot for the hospitality industry. The Lodge has been up and running since 2012. It started off very small with only the basics, but ever since it has been growing and expanding. In 2014 it was decided to create a Wedding Venue.
